A little rushed for time, so I’ll have even fewer words in this post today…
The base and the frog aren’t too bad off to begin with…

Oops. No before of the top of the frog, but here it is after a bit of work…
Frog/base assembly looks tight now, as does that blued connector tab!
Anything with threads gets a little bit of Lithium grease prior to assembly.
Another view of the seated frog, locked into place…
Knob and tote after two coats of gunstock finish…
This weekend, I’ll spend some time flattening and sharpening the blade and fettling the cap iron to fit properly to the blade before assembling the whole thing and trying it out.

Me, too, Marilyn! Going to someone else, though, I’m being extra sure to get it all right. Spent a bit of time flattening the back of the blade after lunch. Unfortunately, need to spend a little more time on it this evening.
It was really unflat.
Yeah, I can’t believe this next weekend is Handworks already! I have about a four hour drive. Plan on being out the door at the crack of dawn on Friday morning, to get there by 10 so I can get a shot at one of them special limited edition gauges. 🙂
